The ancient village of Calcata, perched on a cliff. A village where you can still feel an ancient and magical atmosphere. Your day can continue following the evocative mountain walks that leads to the falls.

 

A day to the Turan Lake, that lies at the foot of Mount Navegna and mirrored in the waters are some magnificent castles and ancient villages. Half way along the lake lie villages on a peninsular and the other on a rocky hill. It is possible to stay on the beach, but also kayaking. 

During the day we can organize for you various hiking trails in the nearby mountains, some suitable for experienced walkers, others suitable also for beginners.

Two days tour from Rome around Central Italy

Some examples of two days tour: 

From Rome we can organise a visit of the cities of Sperlonga, Gaeta and Naples. 

During the summer you can stay one day at the great beach L'Arenauta, between Gaeta and Sperlonga. It's a unique place because it is protected by steep rocks, not visible from the coastal road, and thanks to its very inaccessibility has always been protected by the speculation that has instead destroyed the nearby beaches. Today it remains one of the few stretches of coast entirely natural and wild. The fine white sand and clear water make this place a true paradise.

You will stay and at the B & B surrounded by trees and nature, in a very panoramic position and paradise, as it overlooks the beautiful beach L'Arenauta.

The second day, the tour continues with a visit of Sperlonga, wonderful typical mediterranean village: white small houses, small arches in the narrow alleys, etc. The heart of the village is the small central square that looks like a “living room”

Last stop, for the afternoon, before coming back to Rome is the charming and little town of Gaeta, with the Aragonese-Angevine Castle and the beautiful views from his promontory.

During the the cold season, instead of spending a day at sea, we will organize a visit of one day in Naples, always spending the night near Sperlonga.

Perugia is a city to visit because rich of history, with a beautiful historical center with the building of the Prior and the Greatest Fountain, one of the masterpieces of the Pisanos. 

 

At the end of the day you will cross the beautiful hills of Umbria and Marche (much-touted as the 'new Tuscany'), and spend the night, in the charming seaside town of Fano, on the Adriatic coast. 

The next day, we will reach the Conero promontory where you can take hiking trails that reach the sea. You will also have the opportunity to visit 

 
the city of Ancona, mostly known as an important port, but also an appealing historic town with the 11th-century Duomo on the hill from where you can enjoy a wonderful sea view.

 

Another option that we can offer you is a two-day in the Abruzzo's mountains. You will spend the night in a mountain dew, sorrounded by the wild nature. During the winter season activities we can organize everything to take you for a day of sky or snowboard, and (during summer and autumn) we'll organize for you a day of trekking in the mountains.

We'll choose the best historical bars and restaurants, where you feel the tourism has been forgotten, and where you'll discover the real lifestyle of Rome and roman people. Charming places, usually with a laid-back  atmosphere, where you'll find  workers, students or groups of old men from the area that meets every morning, mixed with intellectuals, trendy bohemians types and artists.
